About

Christina is a fiber artist and designer. Her identity as a maker revealed itself at a very young age through enthusiastic– often relentless– handcraft, textile, and model making. An aspiring artist, she chose instead to pursue a career in interior design, a decision that provided the means to raise a family in New York City while remaining close to her passion for the decorative arts. She earned a Masters Degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute and went on to a career in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industry, working first for Martha Stewart Living, followed by a 20-year career with the luxury French fashion house CHANEL.

Throughout her career, she has honed her sensibility to the significance of place and the power of texture, materiality, light, and movement to elevate how and why we connect with space. Drawing on this experience, she returned to fiber art in earnest, drawn to its humanizing qualities as well as the grounding and optimism brought by collaboration between the natural world and human hands. Today, she creates wall hangings and sculptural artworks that have been included in private art collections throughout the United States.

Christina splits her time between New York City and Sarasota, Florida where she lives and maintains her studio.
